Moments of ClarityWHEN: June 10th 2009 Have you ever had a song hit you right where you’re at? You know, that sweet moment where it seems like you’re the only one listening and the lyrics are the direct answer to the question in your heart that you’ve been pleading for God to answer. It’s that second of clarity in a world of confusion. It’s a glimpse of peace in a time of chaos. You begin to realize that even if no one in the world understands you, not your family, not your friends, not your peers, God can relate. He knows every decision you make and why you made it. The world may think you’re a fool, society may call you impractical, and your enemies may be launching a full assault, but just remember God knows your heart. He knows that what the world calls foolishness is actually child-like faith. When society calls you impractical God calls it spreading his love to ALL people REGARDLESS of their situation. And when you feel like every mistake you’ve made, every person you’ve hurt, and every speck of dirt from your past is all coming back at you at once, know this: when God is on your side and by your side, there is nothing the world can throw at you that you can’t handle. Your life is a testimony to those who know nothing of the love of God, even when they are the very people who are against you. Does your life scream that there is something sustaining you that is not of this world? Something so much bigger than anything anyone else can offer. Let your joy in the hardest of situations speak that which words cannot say. I’ll leave you with these lyrics from my song of the day.
